No. It has two modes of use: its everyday mode lets you use it every day, like a classic lighter.
Does it run on gas or lighter fluid?
Neither. The lighter is electric: instead of a flame, it generates two electric arcs.
How do I charge it?
By USB. The charging cable is included.
How long does charging take?
Allow 3 to 4 hours. The lighter’s screen shows the battery level.
What is “night mode” for?
When the lighter is running on Yom Tov, you can set it in advance to pause the automatic ignitions during the night. Night mode is recommended for better battery management.
If it ignites automatically, is it dangerous?
When the timer reaches zero, there are two cases. If the lid is open, the lighter triggers an ignition. If the lid is closed, it does not ignite and the timer starts a new cycle. So there is no risk of ignition when the lid is closed. As with any lighter, it remains important to keep it away from children.
