Your lighter, step by step.

Light it

In everyday mode, it works like a regular lighter.

1. Open the lid, then hold the “Fire” button (left): the two arcs fire.
2. Release the button: the arcs go out. Close the lid after use.

Program Yom Tov mode

Before the holiday, set the interval between ignitions and, if you wish, a pause at night.

1. On the home screen, press “Menu” (right).
2. “Yom Tov” appears: press “Select” to open it.
3. The cursor is on “Edit mode”: press “Select”.
4. Choose the interval between ignitions: each press on “Select” adds a quarter of an hour, from 15 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes.
5. Here, one ignition every 30 minutes: confirm with “Next”.
6. Night mode: to pause ignitions at night, press “Select” (“Set a night mode”). If you don’t want a pause, move down to “No thanks” with “Next”.
7. Start of the pause, digit by digit: “Select” changes the boxed digit, “Next” moves to the next one.
8. The first digit of the minutes…
9. … then the second digit.
10. The whole start time is boxed: confirm with “Next”.
11. Set the end of the pause (“To”) the same way.
12. The first digit of the minutes…
13. … then the second digit.
14. Confirm the end time with “Next”.
15. The summary appears, here one ignition every 30 minutes and a pause from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM. “Close” finishes, “Edit mode” lets you make changes.

Start Yom Tov mode

Once the mode is programmed, start it before the holiday begins.

1. On the home screen, press “Menu”.
2. Press “Select” to open “Yom Tov”.
3. Move down to “Enter mode” with “Next”.
4. Press “Select”.
5. “Are you sure?”: “Yes” is selected, confirm with “Select”.
6. The lighter reminds you how to leave the mode: both buttons together, for five seconds.
7. Yom Tov mode starts…
8. All set: the screen shows the time and how long until the next ignition. At zero, the lighter ignites by itself if the lid is open: you can keep it closed and only open it just before.

Leave Yom Tov mode

1. Hold both buttons down together for five seconds.
2. Yom Tov mode stops: the home screen comes back.

Set the time

1. On the home screen, press “Menu”.
2. Go to “Settings” with “Next”.
3. Press “Select” to open the settings.
4. Move down with “Next”…
5. … to “Set time”.
6. Press “Select”.
7. The hours are boxed: “Select” changes them, “Next” moves to the minutes.
8. The first digit of the minutes…
9. … then the second digit.
10. The whole time is boxed: “Next” saves it.
11. Back to the settings: the time is set.

Set the date

1. On the home screen, press “Menu”.
2. Go to “Settings” with “Next”.
3. Press “Select” to open the settings.
4. Move down to “Set date” with “Next”.
5. Press “Select”.
6. The day is boxed: “Select” changes it, “Next” moves to the month.
7. Set the month the same way.
8. Then the year, digit by digit.
9. Second digit…
10. Third…
11. … and last.
12. The whole date is boxed: “Next” saves it.
13. Back to the settings: the date is set.

Time and date format

12- or 24-hour time, date with the day or the month first.

1. On the home screen, press “Menu”.
2. Go to “Settings” with “Next”.
3. Press “Select” to open the settings.
4. “Set format” is selected: press “Select”.
5. Time format: “Next” moves down to “24hr”.
6. Confirm with “Select”.
7. Date format: day/month/year or month/day/year. Choose the same way, then “Select”.
8. Back to the settings: the formats are saved.

Charge

The USB cable comes with the lighter.

1. Plug in the USB cable: the lightning bolt appears.
2. The home screen shows charging in progress (a bolt next to the percentage). A full charge takes 3 to 4 hours.
