Set it down and leave it plugged in: every two to three minutes, its dual arc fires by itself, safe inside a glass. The equivalent of a candle that stays lit.

• Set it down and leave it plugged in: no battery to charge
• Its dual arc fires by itself, every two to three minutes
• The arc is sheltered by thick glass, open at the top
• A display under glass: the time until the next ignition, then a flame when the arc fires
• Two finishes: brass with an ivory candle, or all black
